Wordless Wednesday/Recipe

Apparently Wednesday's are "Wordless Wednesdays" where you post a pic with no words to go with it!

Also, since I love cooking/baking,  I decided to post a delicious recipe that ya'll might like to try sometime! I used to eat this a lot when I was younger, and I had it last night and it was still as good as I remember it! Also, this is one of the very, very few times I will eat broccoli! I'm usually not a huge fan!

Broccoli, Cheese and Rice Casserole

Ingredients

  • 3 cups white rice (depending on how thick you want it)

  • 2 cans of Mushroom, or the equivalent amount of fresh

  • 2 cans of mushroom soup

  • 1 Velveeta cheese

  • 1 large bag of frozen Broccoli

Directions

1.Start out by combining the mushrooms, mushroom soup, and Velveeta in a saucepan and cooking on low heat. Be sure you cube your Velveeta. Stir often

2.Boil and cook your white rice.

3.Heat and prepare your broccoli. ( I chop them up pretty good)

4.Lay the rice at the bottom of a baking dish

5.Sprinkle your Broccoli over rice

6.After all your cheese is melted, evenly distribute the mix over the top of your rice and broccoli.

7.Place in the oven on 350 degrees for about 30 - 45 minutes

8.Allow time to cool

9. ENJOY!

Thanks for following my blog! I have been looking for a good broccoli rice casserole for a while and one with cheese sounds even better! I also like the quote at the top of your blog.
