Weekly Weigh In

Today is my weigh in day.

I lost 0 lbs.

Sucks.

But for some reason I'm okay with it.

'Cause I know that I'll make up for it this week.

I wanted to lose 2 lbs every week, but I guess that is a little unrealistic, so I'll be happy with ANY loss.

Wish me luck for this week!

Day 14 & 15

I'm gettin' a little behind with this picture blog! Whoops!

Here are days 14 & 15.

Day 14 - A picture of someone you could never imagine your life without

Well, there are a lot of people I couldn't imagine my life without. My family is a given, of course. There's no way I could imagine a life without them. And of course my best girl friend, Mary. For this post, though, I'm going to say Tony. Imagine trying to live without your best friend? Impossible. He's my rock and I know that I could live without him, but it would just be REALLY hard and I do not even want to imagine it.

Day 15 - A picture of something you want to do before you die.

Yes, that's a kangaroo. And no, I don't want to be a kangaroo, or ride a kangaroo before I die. Kangaroos live in Australia! I want to visit Australia before I die! It's such a beautiful country, and I've only see pictures and videos of it! I'm sure those do not do it justice! I want to snorkel at the Great Barrier Reef! I WILL visit Australia before I die!

Day 3 - Drugs and Alcohol

Day 3 - My views on drugs and alcohol.

In my family, there really hasn't been anyone that abused drugs or alcohol. Thank God. Although nobody in my family has ever been a drug addict or alcoholic, my brother's best friend was.

His name is Alec. First things first - Alec was the nicest guy I've ever met. Every time he came to my house to see my brother, he was always smiling. He was a part of our family. My brother knew him ever since he was in middle school (my brother is now 23). They were best friends, along with another guy. They were the three muskateers. Always together. Alec abused prescription pills and he had to go to rehab. Unfortunately, he came out of rehab after about a year, and he started up again. On January 11, 2009 in the morning, he had passed away. He overdosed on pills (and I think alcohol). I'm not completely sure, but I know he had taken prescription pills. I know it was the worst day of my brother's life and it's STILL hard to believe that he's gone - over 2 years later. I miss seeing his smile all the time, and that laugh. Wow. That laugh was so contagious. I remember the last time I saw him. He was over at my dad's house with my brother and another friend and our family, and we were playing Wii. He was just so happy.

Abusing prescription pills is such a big deal. I want people to become more aware of how huge it is. Don't take it lightly.

Day 2 - 10 years from now

Day 2 - Where I'd like to be in 10 years

Honestly, I just want to be happy. That's really all that matters. I just want happiness and to be with the people I love.

In 10 years I'll be almost 32 years old. That's just crazy to think about. I hope to have my BSN (bachelor of science in nursing) and maybe even my MSN (master of science in nursing). I hope to be married with at least two kids, maybe three, running around. I hope to be a SAHM (stay-at-home mom). Honestly, though, I just want happiness and success.

Relationship Status

So, even though I'm going to be really busy with school and the 30 Day Picture Blog for the next 30 days, I decided why not throw something else to make my life ever crazier?

Day 1: My current relationship status

Well, I think by now y'all know that I have a boyfriend. We have been together for almost two years (it will be two years on Valentines Day). He is truly my best friend and the one person I can act my complete self around. He seriously lights up my life and after two years, he still gives me butterflies. He is the most selfless, caring person you could ever meet and he seriously makes my life better. We have such similar personalities, yet we are very different. If we were to be put on a reality tv show people would seriously think we were the weirdest people ever. We are always joking around and I love him with all my heart.

11, 12 & 13

Oh gosh! I'm so behind with this 30 Day Picture Blog!

School started Tuesday night and so I've been a little busy with that and of course spending time with my wonderful boyfriend! :)

I'm just glad that yesterday was my Friday! :)

Day 11 - A picture of something you hate.

Hate is such a strong word and I honestly don't hate anything. But I do highly dislike things! For instance, this:

Broccoli.

Unless it's cooked in something.

But it can't be big pieces, only really small pieces.

This is my best friend, Mary, who I talk about all the time. We have done some pretty ridiculous things together and I can't wait to do more! :) I love this girl!
